Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actress. Cornish is best known for her role as Heidi on Somersault (2004), Fanny Brawne (Bright Star 2009), Sweet pea in Sucker punch (2011), Lindy in Limitless (2012), Clara Murphy (RoboCop) (2014) and Sarah in Geostorm(2017). The actress has also collaborated with Martin McDonagh to produce Seven Psychopaths and Three Billboards Beyond Ebbing Missouri. The latter movie Cornish won her debut Screen Actors Guild Award as an actor in the film. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland and The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her dad. Ann McDonough played the mother in the film. Betty Gilpin's parents were supportive in encouraging her to be an actress. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin honed her skills. Gilpin started acting on Off Broadway productions after graduation as well as auditioning for roles on the screen and on television. Gilpin was able to land a guest appearance on NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) and followed it up with smaller roles for the films Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin continued to land mostly TV guest roles throughout the following years before she got her first break in 2013, when she was offered the role of Nurse Jackie. The character of the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin appeared in 34 episodes in the show prior to when Nurse Jackie ended its run in June of 2015. That identical year Gilpin was in the mystery thriller True Story (2015).
