Canadian actress who is best well-known for her character Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. She began starring in CBS' Blood & Treasure, starting 2019 Earthstorm (2006) and The Perfect Neighbor (2005). Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, the daughter of Peter Silk who is an academic. Silk's wife Ilkay is a performer also a director and producer as well as playwright. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Annas the first memory of her were going to play rehearsals and witnessing her mom working. Silk was in a variety of commercials as a child. In 1997, she earned an associate's diploma from St. Thomas University. In the beginning of her theater career she appeared in 2 Theatre St. Thomas productions: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Samuel and Levi are their sons. She landed her first major part as Bo Dennis, a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl in 2009. CNN has named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren in Lost Girl as a same-sex couple as one of their top television couples of all time. E! named them the Top Television Couple in 2013.
